1. Definitions

  • “Section Four”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to the registered business entity operating this online platform.
  • “User”, “you”, “your” refers to any person who accesses or makes a purchase on our Platform.
  • “Goods” refers to all clothing items (thrifted and new) offered for sale on the Platform

 

2. Scope of Service

Section Four operates an online retail platform offering curated thrifted and new clothing for sale within Ghana. We currently operate solely within Ghana and do not support international sales.

 

3. Product Listings and Condition

3.1 All products listed are either:

  • Second-hand thrifted garments sourced from resellers in varying conditions, with preference for premium-grade items, or
  • New, branded, or unbranded basic apparel (e.g., plain t-shirts).

3.2 We strive to accurately describe the condition, size, and notable characteristics of each product. Minor variations may occur due to the pre-owned nature of some items.

3.3 Unless expressly stated, thrifted products are sold “as-is” and are not washed or refurbished. Select rare items may be cleaned or repaired prior to sale.

 

4. Returns and Refunds

4.1 All sales are final. Section Four does not accept returns or exchanges unless the item delivered:

  • Is materially different from the item described at the time of purchase; or
  • Arrives damaged due to transit issues.

4.2 This policy complies with the Ghana Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), which permits exclusions on returns of second-hand items, provided such exclusions are communicated in advance.

4.3 Buyers are advised to read product descriptions carefully before completing a purchase and contact us in advance with any inquiries.

 

5. Pricing and Taxes

5.1 All product prices displayed on the Platform are quoted in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) regulations.

5.2 Delivery fees are not included in the product price and will be calculated at checkout based on the buyer’s selected delivery method.

 

6. Payment Methods

Section Four accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Mobile Money (via supported networks)
  • Credit and Debit Cards (via secure payment gateways)

 

7. Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Section Four currently delivers to addresses within Accra and the Greater Accra Region only.

7.2 Delivery options include:

  • Urgent Delivery (within 6 hours): Buyer arranges courier pickup during operational hours (8 AM – 10 PM) via Bolt, Uber, or Yango.
  • Fast Delivery (Next Day): Scheduled delivery via a logistics partner.
  • Standard Delivery (3–5 business days): Standard courier delivery within Accra.

7.3 Delivery is executed by trusted third-party logistics partners, including Bolt, Uber, Yango, and (pending agreement) Qargo.

7.4 Pickup is not permitted. All deliveries must be made via approved courier partners.

 

8. Customer Data and Privacy

8.1 Section Four collects customer data strictly for order processing, communication, and marketing purposes.

8.2 By making a purchase, you consent to receive email marketing communications. You may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in our emails.

8.3 Your personal data will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing. It may be disclosed to trusted service providers (e.g., payment gateways, delivery couriers) strictly as required to fulfill your order.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

9.2 If no resolution is reached informally, disputes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.

 

10. User Conduct

10.1 Users agree not to misuse the Platform or violate applicable laws. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Fraudulent transactions;
  • Copying or redistributing Platform content;
  • Disrupting site functionality or attempting unauthorized access.

 

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, images, text, and design elements, are the exclusive property of Section Four and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

 

12. Amendments

Section Four reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly for updates.

 

13. Additional Features (Pending or Under Review)

The following services or features may be introduced in the future:

  • Loyalty or referral programs
  • User-generated content (e.g., Instagram tags)
  • Customer product reviews on the Platform

These will be governed by supplementary policies when activated.
